Citing and reusing

You may quote, chart and republish the findings and the aggregate numbers in data.json, including commercially, as long as you credit "Gemmein Research" with a link to research.gemmein.com. Please cite the date shown on the page, because the numbers update daily.

What the data is, and isn't

The report summarises public posts where builders describe problems taking apps to production. It is a sample of what people chose to write about in public, not a census of all apps, and a post can fit more than one pattern. The figures describe that sample. They are not advice, and they are not a statement about any named product or company.

Personal data

We read public posts. We publish only aggregate counts and paraphrased patterns. We never publish names, usernames, profile links or quotes, and nothing on these pages is meant to identify a person or a project. Working copies of the source posts are kept only as long as the analysis needs them.

Corrections and removal

If you think a figure is wrong, or you believe a post of yours was included and want it excluded from future updates, email [email protected]. We act on these within 30 days, and exclusions carry into every future update.

We may update these terms as the research grows. The date below shows the current version.
